All the activities of the church are paid for by the church members and supporters. It currently costs about £12,000 each week for the regular running costs of the church and its ministries. We get no income from the wider Church of England or from anywhere else (in fact we give a substantial amount of our income to the wider Church of England to support mission in poorer parts of South London).

In addition to giving towards our everyday costs, we are also currently fundraising for our exciting Hall development project.  We have a separate account for these funds, and you can see details for both accounts on the 2017 pledge card and also listed below.

By monthly standing order direct to the general church bank account for everyday giving:

Emmanuel Croydon
Sort Code: 40-52-40

By monthly standing order direct to the development account for giving towards the hall project:

This is the most convenient method for the church as it allows us to budget for the months ahead, minimises administration effort in dealing with cash, and makes it easier to reclaim Gift Aid.

By cash or cheque in the envelopes or collection boxes at the back of church in the weekly collection.

Text “ECSC27 £N” (where N is the number of pounds you wish to donate, specifying 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 pounds) to 70070. You will be given the opportunity to Gift Aid the donation.

More details soon on how you can give via direct debit and credit card donations.

Gift Aid is a really valuable source of income for the church. We can reclaim the basic rate income tax you pay, which adds 25% on top of your gift. Print off and complete the Gift Aid form (click the image below), and hand it in to the church office, to one of the leadership team on Sunday, or send to the address shown on the form. Thank you.
