Children and Youth on Sunday Mornings
Creche
For little ones aged between 0-3
Creche is for young children who haven’t started Pre-school yet. It includes a short bible story, toys and songs.
(Parents are encourage to drop children off at a marked point in the service and then collect promptly at the end of the service.)
The Rock
The Rock is for Pre-school & Primary school aged children. It includes a bible story, songs, memory verses, prayers, games, craft and much more.
There are three groups in The Rock:
Pebbles & marbles: Pre-School – Reception (age 3-5)
Opals & Diamonds: School Years 1-3 (age 5-8)
Rubies & Meteors: School Years 4 & 5 (age 8-11)
Emmanuel Youth Culture
EYC is for young people aged 11-18. It includes fun activities and a look at who God is from the Bible, with space for discussion and prayer.
There are two groups in EYC:
Rock Solid: for younger youth in School years 6-10
EYC: for older youth in School years 11-13

For 0-4 year olds and their grown up! With tea & coffee, toast, toys, craft, stories, and singing!
When: Wednesdays (during term time) – 10:00am – 11:30am
Where: The Emmanuel Centre, Rockhampton Rd, South Croydon CR2 7AQ
No booking required but we do ask for an optional small donation on the door.
For parents, grandparents, and other carers with children up to 18 months to meet and connect over tea, coffee, biscuits and cake!
When: Thursdays (during term time) – 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Where: The Watney Room, Emmanuel Church, Normanton Road CR2 7AF
No booking required but we do ask for an optional £1 donation on the door.
For 0-7 year olds with their Dad, Grandad, or Male Grown-Up! Craft, toys, games, stories and song-time for the kids. Coffee and Bacon Butties for the adults!
When: Saturdays (monthly during term time) – 9:30am – 11:00am – Check our calendar here for dates.

The First Communion Course is designed to help children understand communion, deepen their understanding of the faith, and prepare them to them to receive communion for the first time. For Children aged 8+, this course offers engaging lessons and activities to deepen their understanding of prayers, Bible stories, and the sacraments.
When: Mondays (during term time) starting 20th October- 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Where: The Emmanuel Centre – G4 & G5, Rockhampton Rd, South Croydon CR2 7AQ
A fun service with craft, activities, and messy fun for primary school aged children & their grown ups & siblings.
When: Mondays (bimonthly) – 5:45pm – 7:00pm – Check our calendar here for dates.
Where: Emmanuel Church, Normanton Road CR2 7AF
No booking required but we do ask for an optional small donation on the door.
Story time is for for Primary school children, whilst parents can chat over a cup of tea or other refreshments.
When: Fridays (weekly during term time) – 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Where: The Emmanuel Centre, Rockhampton Rd, South Croydon CR2 7AQ

Friday Rock is a popular, fun-filled, action-packed group for children in school years 3-6. Each week we have games, craft and stories from the Bible.

Pirate Mayhem 2026 will take place on the 22nd, 23rd, & 24th of July, plus a special Sunday service on the 26th July at 10am!
Come join us for music, games, drama, art, sport, media and GUNGE! We’ll sail the seven seas and meet the great captain Jesus.
Open to all primary school aged children (reception to year 6)!
Places will be limited so do book in early.

Youth

Tuesday Pasta is for school years 10-13, we eat pasta and have an interactive discussion about faith and the Bible.
When: Every other Tuesday during Term time – 7:45 – 9pm
Where: Tuesday is hosted at different homes, email David for more details!
No booking required but you need to bring an adult on your first week.
Wednesday Hangout is for school years 6-9, we play games, eat delicious home-made cakes and explore some of the big questions about God together!
When: Every Wednesday During Term time – 7-8:15pm
Where: The Watney Room, Emmanuel Church, Normanton Road CR2 7AF
No booking required but you do need to register on the door.
