Prayer at the Centre

Prayer At The Centre (PATC) named to demonstrate the value we put upon prayer. PATC is our monthly churchwide prayer meeting focussed on mission, Emmanuel and wider issues. 

It is held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, for one hour from 8.00 – 9.00pm. It includes a variety of prayer styles often praying in the whole group, or responsive, or small group prayer and individual silent prayer slots.

Saturday Prayer meeting

Every Saturday morning a group pray from 9.00 – 9.30am.

Prayer covers Emmanuel, the services and activities scheduled for the week ahead, the staff and members as well as the world.

Persecuted Christians Prayer Meeting

This group uses material from Open Doors, Release International and other sources to inform the prayers. Meeting is at 11.15am on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.

Pray for mission partners in Africa

We pray for Christian workers and the Africans they serve.

Many have links with Emmanuel including: 
– Simon French, based in Croydon, and the African Diasporas
– Bishop Barham University College in Uganda
– Ruth Kade, in South Sudan
– Anglican churches in Egypt

Other workers we pray for include: 
– a family serving with AIM in Tanzania
– a family serving with Crosslinks in Senegal
– a Tanzanian pastor in Tanzania
