We would love to help you connect with others as part of the Emmanuel community. There are many different ways of doing this. Home Groups meet throughout the Croydon area, at different times through the day and evening.

Home Groups

A great way to get involved, to get to know people and to grow in faith is by joining a Home Group.

We have around 30 Home Groups – including more than 280 people – that meet during the week for Bible study, prayer, friendship and mutual support. Our Home Groups include people from the ages of 18 to 80+. Some groups meet on a weekly basis, others on a fortnightly basis, some meet during the day and others meet in the evenings. We hope that there’s a group where everyone can learn, grow, give and receive.

Our intention for Home Groups is that each one will be:

‘a transformational community that studies the Bible, prays, and participates in God’s mission together for the purposes of God’s transforming work’

Mum’s Groups

Mum’s groups are essentially Home Groups for mums! They often meet during the day, and we have different groups for mums of little ones, and mums of much older ones! They meet to share experience, pray for one another, grow in their discipleship and love and support for one another.

If you’re interested in joining a Home Group or a Mum’s Group, please contact Ben using the form below.

Disabled Christian Fellowship

Disabled Christian Fellowship is a club for disabled and able-bodied adults. Our friendly informal group meets at Emmanuel every other month at 10.30am on a Saturday morning.

Come and join us if you find it difficult to get to regular church services, if you would welcome the fellowship of a smaller group or if you want to make new friends. Our meetings allow time for informal chat over refreshments, a short time of worship and a speaker or musical entertainer. The cost is £1, to include refreshments, and we can provide help with transport.

For further information about forthcoming events, the Croydon DCF branch or transport, contact the Church Office.
