Spending time with each other and God
This year our day together on Saturday will be based in the Surrey countryside just 15 minutes away from Emmanuel at New Lodge Farm – a wonderful venue right on our doorstep with great facilities and plenty of parking that has hosted a variety of events including The Forge, a men’s event run in September. We will spend time relaxing, chatting, eating, playing games, worshipping, and making the most of the space and beautiful surroundings – we’ll even have a special creche area for the little ones!
Our prayer is that this event will be an opportunity to re-kindle old friendships, make new ones, and most importantly, help us to remember the wonderful privilege that we have as believers of living together as God’s family.
Planning
We are planning to share responsibilities for different aspects of the day across the church family. At this stage we are liaising with or looking for leaders to hold responsibility for the key building blocks for the day. Please get in contact if you’d like to help.
