Psalm 139: 13-14 – For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Heavenly father, we praise you for the gift of life. News comes as princes Eugenie gives birth to a baby boy. May we take the time to remember our lives as children with the moments of joy, learning, bonding, and developing that have brought us to who we are today. May remember our childlike inquisitive mind to learn more about and understand you. We pray for all parents, young and old who have worked hard to raise younger people to build a world to focus on you and thank you for your hard work in caring for us as we continue to grow and develop ourselves.

Father God, our hearts go out to all those dealing with difficulties with the cold this winter. There those who struggle with paying for heating, those who struggle with travel to work and there are those are who are further isolated by snow. May those people know your love, your kindness and strength. We pray we can help those people wherever we can to bring joy and peace in their lives, despite the circumstances.

May we have no fear in our minds and no worry in our hearts for we know you are at the centre of all.

Psalm 139: 15-16 My frame was not hidden from you, when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
