Our vision at Emmanuel is that prayer underpins everything we do both together and in our own lives.

At the start of each term, we take 24 hours to pray.

Church is open for you to drop in at any convenient time. We pray in many ways:

• Quiet individual prayer

• Gathered times when we worship and pray together

• Small groups coming together

• Reflective times using resources to help us pray about a theme

This time the 24 hours falls within the Global Week of Prayer, we are joining over 1750 prayer rooms as we pray and focus on the theme – At the Name of Jesus.

Jesus being found in appearance as a man, humbled himself by becoming obedient to death — even death on a cross!

Therefore, God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2: 9-11

Church will be open for 24 hours from 9am on Wednesday 9th September until 9am on Thursday 10th. We invite everyone to come in and pray.
