Upcoming events!
All women are invited to come and join us at our next event – a night of word and worship on Saturday 7th November from 7-9pm.
Whether you are in a season when you are delighting in your Bible reading – or whether you are finding it a real challenge – whether you have read the Bible for years or whether you are new to it all – every woman is welcome to come and join us.
We’ll have the opportunity to hear from Han Hee Kim, a London-based women’s minister, as well as testimonies from women at Emmanuel.
There’ll also be worship led by Rachel and Tina, and time for refreshments and chat, reflection and prayer.

Regular activities
Emmanuel is proud to host SELAM, an English language class for women, run by women. It is a warm, friendly, informal class for all abilities. All women are welcome, whatever your English-level – we have a creche for children under 5 who are welcome to come with you.
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays (during term-time) – 10:00am – 11:30am
Where: The Emmanuel Centre, Rockhampton Rd, South Croydon CR2 7AQ
The cost is £1 and includes refreshments.

A ladies-only badminton session running on Thursday afternoons. Whether you’ve not played for a long time or prefer to play at a more sedate pace, please feel free to come along and join us. We play for fun and to enjoy making new friends. We don’t take part in League matches.
When: Thursdays (during term time) – 1:30pm – 3:00pm

Emmanuel Thunder netball team plays regularly on Saturday mornings in the CNL league. We are a friendly team who enjoy playing netball; we have players from a wide range of backgrounds and a mix of ages. We’re always looking for new players of all abilities and the team is open to all ladies age 14 or over. If you’ve got a passion for shooting goals, defending or just running around the court, come along and give it a go!
