Adult Christmas Choir
The Adult Christmas Choir will sing at the Carols By Candlelight services on 20th December. This year we have decided to run the service twice at 4.00pm and 6.30pm.
We would love to have lots of people volunteering to join our choir for this service as we have done in the past – leading our congregational carols and singing some lovely choir carols that our organist Richard has lined up. So if you would like to be involved get the following dates in your diary, and sign up via the link below. And if you know of other singers who may like to join us then please do invite them and get them to sign up via the same link.
If you’ve sung in the choir in the past we would love if you are able to be involved again. If you haven’t sung with us in the past we would love it if you were able to join us.
As usual, we will try and ensure that we have rehearsal tracks available that you can listen to and practice at home – in fact most of them are already prepared!
Here are the dates of our rehearsals – we will spend the first two or three learning the notes and the different parts and the others in putting it all together:

Sunday 20th December 2:30-3.30pm rehearsal; 4.00-5:15pm Carol Service. And then 6.30-8:00pm Carol Service
If you can’t make some of the rehearsals or can’t do both of the services, then let us know when you sign up – The earlier you can reply then the easier it will be for our planning! We really hope you will enjoy being involved with this special service.
Children’s Christmas Choir
The Children’s Christmas Choir will sing at the Christingle service on Sunday 13th December at 10am. This choir is for Children in school years 2-8.
At the Christingle service they’ll perform their own song as well as help lead the congregational songs led by the Youth Band.
The rehearsal dates for the Children’s Choir are:
Sunday 22nd November 11:45-12:30
Sunday 29th November 11:45-12:30
Sunday 6th December 11:45-12:30
Sunday 13th December 9am rehearsal before 10am Christingle Service
Children will need to be able to make at least 2 out of the 3 rehearsals.

Christmas Eve
Each year we put on a dramatic retelling of the Christmas story and this year is no different! We have an exciting idea of how to do it this year and we’d love some people to get involved. We need actors who would like to be part of the drama, and people who would like to help with the technical side of the service in set building, etc.
