EYC: SUNDAY meets every week at the 9.15 service and is for young people in school years 7-9 and 10-11. We get together to deepen friendships, to study the Bible and to explore what it means to be a Christian living in Croydon in the 21st Century.
The average EYC: Sunday morning includes games, age appropriate teaching and discussion, prayer and worship. We always start by discussing the highs and lows of the week as a great way to get to know each other, share in life and support one another. This is normally followed by a fun game or activity. Teaching and discussions are designed to enable young people to begin to explore what the Bible says and what it means for them. There are always opportunities to respond to this, through creative prayer activities and sung worship.
In February each year The Hub goes to the CYE sailing centre near Chichester for our annual weekend away. Not only is this an opportunity for lots of fun and to try out new physical activities, but also a fantastic chance to dedicate a weekend to a more focused consideration of the Bible and what it means to know God.
