Dashing with the Dashing White Sergeant, Flying with the Flying Scotsman, Reeling with the Cumberland Reel and Swinging with Strip the Willow – its all happening in church on Saturday 20th November.
Emmanuel’s very own ceilidh band will be leading the dancing at a fantastic Autumn Ceilidh.
Absolutely no experience is needed because there will be a “Caller” who will be giving all the instructions and walking everyone through the dances. Ceilidhs are brilliant at including everyone – children and older people can get involved and enjoy the fun.
With the easing of lockdown restrictions and everyone longing to meet up with their church friends, a ceilidh will be just the thing to lift everyone’s spirits.
The pews will still be tucked away, and the church makes a wonderful space for dancing, so we’ll have everyone “Reeling in the Aisles”.
