On Sunday 11th November at 10.55am we will be holding a Remembrance Sunday Service.
The service will begin with a formal act of remembranfce of those who have given their lives to the service of their country. This year’s service will be especially poignant as it will mark exactly 100 years since the signing of The Armistice which ended the First World War.
There will also be an opportunity in the service to light a candle in memory of loved ones who have died during the past year. This is always a moving part of the service and is a way for the church to express our care and support for those who are bereaved.
During the service we will read out the names of those who have recently died. If you, or someone you know, would like us to mention a loved one, please contact Mandy Gower in the Church Office.
You can be assured of a very warm welcome and a sensitive service.
