Friday Night Groups
Three youth groups are held on Friday evenings during term times, in the Church Hall on the corner of Rockhampton Road. They provide a safe environment for children to meet together and enjoy each others company in a relaxed atmosphere. Joining is not dependent on church attendance, and the groups are open to any children in the local area.
Sorted (for school years 3 and 4) and Massif (for school years 5 and 6) meet in the Church Hall between 6 and 7.30pm. They aim to provide a fun environment with games, crafts, quizzes and relevant, biblically based teaching and discussions.
TGIF is the club for 11 - 14 year olds, where children have the opportunity to spend time together, release lots of energy and share ideas about life issues and challenges. Activities provided include football, netball, basketball, crafts, unihoc, table football and table tennis, and there are occasional trips to bowling, swimming or the cinema. There is an admission charge of 50p.
