Youth Football Teams

Under 14 Team

This year for the first time we have an under 14’s football team in the South London Churches Football League.

This is a team made up of boys in years 7, 8 & 9 from Emmanuel Church and Selsdon and Croham Road Baptist churches and is called Selsdon United.

There are 10 league matches throughout the season and also a Cup competition. Matches are played on alternate Saturday mornings and conveniently for us, most of the teams play at Purley Way.

The boys play 11 a side, with rolling subs, on an almost full sized pitch with full sized goals, each half is 35 minutes long. Training takes place at Sanderstead Rec on Sunday between 2 – 3pm. We now have a full squad of 15 boys (9 of whom are from Emmanuel).

Spectators are always welcome – there are generally parents from all 3 churches cheering on the boys.
