Youth at Emmanuel Croydon

Emmanuel Croydon is home to a thriving and growing Youth Ministry, run by our full time Youth Ministry Co-ordinator, Mike Rutt, Student Youth Worker, Ashley Kerwood, and Youth Ministry Assistant, Clare Buchanan. The youth team is involved in Chaplaincy work at Archbishop Tenision’s school, where Mike serves as the Assistant Chaplain, and Crystal Palace FC were Mike is part of the Chaplaincy Team and works with the players in the under 18 side.

There are a wide range of youth activities running throughout the week at Emmanuel Croydon, which you can read more about below.


On Friday evenings 80-100 young people, in school years 7-13 meet in the Church Hall from 7.45-10pm, for an evening of fun, games, and chilling out after a long week at school. For more information click here




Each Sunday evening after the 6.30 service, between 8-9pm, young people in school years 10-13 meet in the basement for an opportunity to hang out, chat, play games and eat food. Click here for more information

Every Sunday morning, at both the 9.15am and 11am services young people in school years 7-9 head down to the basement for an opportunity to spend time with one another and to explore what it means to be a Christian living in Croydon in the 21st Century. This is done through age appropriate teaching and discussions, and includes prayer and worship. Click here for more information.

Each summer the young people in school year 9-13 have the opportunity to spend a week in a field in Somerset at Soul Survivor. It is an opportunity to hang out with each other, but also spend some focussed time worshipping and learning more about ourselves and Jesus. For more information click here.
