Children play a hugely important part in the life of our church. In all of our children’s activities, whether they are held on a Sunday morning, during the week, or at our annual Mayhem holiday club we want to nurture children in a life of faith by growing their confidence in prayer, bible reading, worship and helping them to learn what it means to follow Jesus in a way that is relevant. We’re delighted to have a full time Children’s Ministry Co-ordinator, Becky Frost who works closely with a team of over 75 volunteers who have regular contact with 350 children up to and including those in school year 6.

Clare Fillingham is our Young Families Ministry Coordinator – her job is to get to know the young families in our community through church services, creche, Toddlers, Saturdads, Bumps and Babies and Messy Church.  She also runs parenting courses, meets with baptism families and helps with Mums’ Breakfasts.  If you are a young family, then Clare would like to meet you and help you get plugged in to life at Emmauel.

Children and families can get involved in a huge range of activities throughout the week, and there are groups for all sorts of ages.
