Summer Sunday Worship at Emmanuel Croydon

Summer Sundays look a little different to normal. Check out the details below and join us at one of our three main services:

During summer we will be hosting an ‘early bird’ service which begins at 8.30am. This will be a quiet, short (30-40 minutes), said service with a sermon, following the order for Morning Prayer. There will be a couple of traditional hymns led by the organ on most Sundays. The 9:15am family service returns on Sunday 6th September

Beginning Sunday 26th July, and throughout August, our 9.15am and 11am family congregations will worship together at 11am.  The service will last an hour and combine elements of traditional and contemporary worship, with singing led by a small band.

Services on 26th July, 9th and 23rd August will be a Communion service for all ages.

Services on 2nd, 16th and 30th August will include separate activities for children aged 3 upwards.

Our 6.30 service is an informal service with more time for extended worship, teaching and prayer ministry. We have regular celebrations of Holy Communion, and try to engage creatively with praying for our community and the world we live in. The service follows on from our 14-18s youth program, lasts up to 75mins and is followed with drinks in the church.
