The French Family

Simon and Sue French and their youngest daughter Jasmine are living in Karatu in Tanzania working on literacy and bible training in the Swahili and Datooga languages among the pastors in the region under the auspices of the Africa Inland Mission and Africa Inland Church. This follows a previous medium term placement in Tanzania working on the TIMO (Training in Ministry Outreach) programme working as part of a team with the local church in the village of Olpiro. Simon and Sue's elder daughter, Hannah, is now boarding at school in Nairobi, Kenya. The Frenches were longstanding members of the Emmanuel congregation before they took up this long term placement.
