24-7 Prayer

24-7 prayer started unexpectedly in September 1999, with some young people in England who decided to pray non-stop for a month. In fact they ended up praying for a lot longer!

From there the prayer meeting has spread into many nations, denominations and age-groups.

Emmanuel has been organising 24-7 prayer events over the last year. Over 200 people have participated and it has been amazing to witness some of the things that God did during that time and see the answers to prayer.

As a new school year approaches, Emmanuel is planning to hold another non stop prayer event. The start of a new term is a fantastic time to look back and thank God for all that he has been doing already this year and to pray into all that could happen over the coming months.

The Prayer Room will be launched during the evening service on Sunday 26th September and will run right through to 8pm on Saturday 2nd October
