I have been the vicar at Emmanuel since the beginning of 2003. I have been a minister since 1989 and have worked in churches in Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire and Middlesex. I am married to Laura, a teacher, and have three children.
Sarah Fenby
I've been on the staff team of Emmanuel since the end of November 2004 and along with playing a role in that team my main focus at Emmanuel is to develop the church graft project (a type of church planting initiative) and mission partnership between Emmanuel, and St Francis. I was previously a training curate at St Michael's Stoke Gifford Bristol. I am married to Nick and have two children, Sophia and Nathan.
Bridget Shepherd
I joined the Emmanuel staff team in July 2008 as Assistant Curate. I spent the previous two years in Bristol completing my ministerial training, and prior to that 12 years in youth ministry. I'm marrid to Nick and we have two young children.
Jan Wilson
I came to Emmanuel Church shortly after my marriage to Keith, nearly thirty years ago. Our sons David and Richard were involved in the Sunday groups for many years. In 1990 I trained as a pastoral assistant (known as a SPA in Southwark diocese) and had particular responsibility for older folk at Emmanuel. I was ordained in 2003, and enjoy working in the local community.
Alice Price
My role as youth minister means that I'm responsible for all the 11-18s work at Emmanuel. This involves running three youth groups at Emmanuel, and working in local schools and the community. I've been at Emmanuel since Sept 2005, having moved from Loughborough in Leicestershire. I've been in full time youth work since Sept 2001, and I've worked with children and young people in schools, churches and on the streets. I'm married to Steve, who is a full time illusionist, and so have also been a magician's assistant in my spare time!
Clare Buchanan
I've been part of Emmanuel since September 2005 as the Children's Work Co-ordinator. This means that I co-ordinate and am involved in all of the children's groups for children under the age of 11. My role also includes school assemblies and various other children related jobs. Before coming to Emmanuel I worked in Ecuador as a playworker for an AIDS orphanage and street children support centre. I am currently very happy living in South Croydon with my beautiful cat.
